Product Description
Our Nicr 80/20 Electric Heating Resistance Nichrome Ribbon / Flat Wire (Ni80Cr20) is a resistance alloy recommended for use in dry air applications up to 2150 degrees F. With its high electrical resistance, it is ideal for resistance heating elements. When heated for the first time, it forms an adherent layer of chromium oxide, preventing oxidation and ensuring durability.
Applications
Our Nichrome wire is commonly used in precision heating applications such as Medical Diagnostics, Satellite, and Aerospace. It is also widely used in the electrical appliance industry, including ironing machines, water heaters, plastic molding dies, soldering irons, and cartridge elements.
