1J85 is a premium nickel-iron-molybdenum soft magnetic alloy renowned for its exceptional magnetic properties and reliable performance in precision applications. With a nickel content of approximately 80-81.5%, molybdenum at 5-6%, and a balanced composition of iron and trace elements, this alloy stands out for its high initial permeability (over 30 mH/m) and maximum permeability (exceeding 115 mH/m), making it highly sensitive to weak magnetic signals. Its extremely low coercivity (less than 2.4 A/m) ensures minimal hysteresis loss, ideal for high-frequency alternating magnetic fields.




Beyond its magnetic strengths, 1J85 boasts impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of ≥560 MPa and a hardness of ≤205 Hv, enabling easy cold working into wires, strips, and other precise forms. With a Curie temperature of 410°C, it maintains stable magnetic performance even in elevated temperatures, while its density of 8.75 g/cm³ and resistivity of around 55 μΩ·cm further enhance its suitability for demanding environments.
