Product Description
CuMn12Ni Manganin Wire (1.5mm Diameter)
Product Overview
CuMn12Ni manganin wire (1.5mm diameter) from Tankii Alloy Material is a high-stability copper-manganese-nickel alloy wire with a bright, uniform surface finish as shown. Composed of Cu (balance) + 11.0–13.0% Mn + 1.5–2.5% Ni with trace stabilizing elements, it is produced via vacuum smelting, hot rolling, multi-pass drawing, and precision annealing. It features ultra-low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), stable resistivity, and excellent mechanical strength, making it ideal for high-power precision resistors, current shunts, and industrial control components requiring long-term stability and high current-carrying capacity.

Key Core Advantages (Centered on 1.5mm Thick Wire)
1. Ultra-Stable Electrical Performance
- Low TCR & Stable Resistivity: Resistivity = 0.42 μΩ·m (20℃), TCR = ±10×10⁻⁶/℃ (0–100℃), ensuring resistance drift ≤0.01%/℃—critical for precision high-power resistors and shunts.
- High Current-Carrying Capacity: 1.5mm diameter provides excellent current-carrying capability (≥20A continuous), suitable for high-power industrial and automotive applications.
2. Excellent Mechanical & Processing Properties
- High Strength & Ductility: Tensile strength ≥500 MPa (hard temper) / ≥320 MPa (soft temper), elongation ≥22% (soft temper), supporting winding, bending, and swaging without breaking.
- Bright Surface & Good Solderability: Polished bright finish (Ra ≤0.8μm) ensures low contact resistance and reliable soldering, ideal for resistor winding and terminal connections.
3. Good Corrosion & Environmental Resistance
- Atmospheric & Mild Corrosion Resistance: Forms a dense oxide film, passes 500-hour ASTM B117 salt spray test without obvious corrosion.
- Wide Operating Temperature: -40℃ to 150℃, stable performance in industrial and automotive environments.
