Production Description:

bayonet heating elements are typically constructed with inline configurations and have electrical plugin “bayonet” connector to facilitate quick installation and removal.Bayonet heating elements are used in industrial processing equipment such as:heat treating,glass production,ion nitriding,salt baths,non-ferrous metals liquefy,scientific applications,seal quench furnaces, hardening furnaces,tempering furnaces,annealing furnaces,and industrial kilns.The heating element/radiant tube replacement package consists of Custom Electric bayonet heating elements and kanthal APM alloy radiant tubes.The bayonent heating elements will replace original equipment in any electric furnace and handle power ratings up to 70kw per element.The elements are fabricated from Ni/Cr or high -temperature Kanthal APM alloy to accommodate furnace-operating temperatures from 200 to 2250 ℉(95 to 1230℃).

Specification

All ceramic bobbin heaters are custom-made, and the power ratings are according to the length of the ceramic bobbins shown in the table below .

 

Both Ø29mm and Ø32mm ceramic bobbins will fit into a 1 ½ inch (Ø38mm) metal protection sheath.

The Ø45mm ceramic bobbin will fit into a 2 inch (Ø51.8mm) metal protection sheath.
