SCu1898 (also known as CuZn39Pb3, UNS C18980, or CW614N) is a high-lead brass welding rod/wire designed for welding brass alloys, copper alloys, and copper-to-steel dissimilar joints.

This alloy offers high electrical and thermal conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance, and stable mechanical performance.
It is widely used in electrical components, plumbing fittings, valves, marine piping, and industrial copper alloy assemblies.
