Pure Nickel welding wire ERNI-1 is mainly used for tungsten gas shielded welding, fusion gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding of Nickel 200 and 201 alloys, and can also be used for surfacing welding of steel.When it is used for submerged arc welding, IncoFlux 6 is used to match the submerged arc welding agent.The titanium in the weld metal reacts with the carbon to reduce the free carbon to a relatively low level, so the electrode can be used to weld Nickel 201.Weld metal has excellent corrosion resistance, especially alkali metal corrosion resistance.

Erni-1 wire can be used in a variety of welding applications, including nickel-200, 201 alloys to stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, Incoloy, copper-nickel and Monel alloys.It can also be used for welding between Monel alloy and Cu-Ni alloy to carbon steel and Cu-Ni alloy to Inconel or Incoloy alloy.
