General Description

Copper nickel alloy wires are available as bare wire, or enamelled wire with any insulation and self-bonding enamel. Furthermore, litz wire made of enamelled copper nickel alloy wire are available.

Application of Constantan

control of melting and conversion practices results in a very low level of pinholes at
ultra-thin thicknesses. The alloy is used extensively for foil resistors and strain gauges.
