Fecral alloy is high resistance and electrical heating alloy. It is normally used in electrical furnace, glass top hobs,quartz tube heaters,resistors,catalytic converter,heating elements etc.

13.00 Cr, 4.00 Al, Bal. Fe
Max contineous working temperature: 950º C.
Melting Temperature: 1450º C
Electrical Resistivity: 1.25 ohm mm2/m
Diameter 0.1mm~12mm, in wire, rod, sprial shape
Has been used extensively as heating elements in industrial furnaces and electrical kilns.
Has less hot strength than Tophet alloys but much higher melting point.
