Manganin Nickel-Copper 0.05mm to 10.0mm 6J12/6J13/6J8 Cu86Mn12Ni2 precision resistance alloy wire

Short Description:

Manganin is the electric resistance alloy with the copper nickel as the essential component. It has the low resistance temperature coefficient, wide working temperature scope (500 below), good machining property,anti-corrosiveand easy braze welding. Used in manufacturing regenerator's variable resistor and the strain resistor.

Cu-Mn Manganin Wire Applications:

a) It is used for making wire wound precision resistance

b) Resistance boxes

c) Shunts for electrical measuring instruments

CuMn12Ni4 Manganin Wire is also used in gauges for studies of high-pressure shock waves (such as those generated from the detonation of explosives) because it has low strain sensitivity but high hydrostatic pressure sensitivity.
